Product Description

Wing Barrier Turnstile Fast Passage Bi Directional Far Field RFID Reading 0.5s 1400mm Lane

Product Introduction

This wing barrier turnstile is arranged as a single bi directional lane, so the same pair of cabinets serves people entering and leaving instead of requiring two separate gates. Direction is detected from the sensor sequence, and the wings only open for the side that presented a valid credential, which halves the footprint in a lobby or a connecting corridor while keeping the entry and exit counts separate.

The reader works in the far field, reading a card at 50 to 80cm before the person reaches the cabinet. There is no tap, no presentation and no pause at the reader: the credential is already validated by the time the user arrives, and the wings open in 0.5 seconds. For staff carrying bags, trays or equipment this removes the most common cause of a slow lane, which is people stopping to find and present a card.

The controller validates the next credential while the previous user is still inside the lane, so a queue keeps moving at walking pace rather than cycling open close open. Anti passback logic prevents a card from being handed back over the barrier or reused for a second entry, and the direction based sensor array rejects a person who tries to reverse into the lane behind someone else. The lane keeps the standard cabinet: 1400mm 304 stainless steel pedestal, acrylic swing arms, six pairs of infrared sensors, automatic reset in 10 seconds and automatic unlock on power failure.

Product Advantages

  • One lane for entry and exit - A single pair of cabinets handles both directions with separate in and out counts. Direction is detected from the sensor sequence, and the wings open only for the side that presented a valid credential.
  • Far field card reading without tapping - Cards are read at 50 to 80cm before the user reaches the cabinet, so staff carrying bags or equipment pass without stopping to find and present a credential at the reader.
  • Half the footprint of two gates - Because one lane serves both directions, a lobby or corridor needs one lane instead of two, which reduces cabinet cost, cabling and the floor space taken from the entrance.
  • Next credential validated while lane is occupied - A second valid credential is processed while the previous user is still walking through, so the lane keeps moving at walking pace instead of cycling open, close, open.
  • Anti passback control - A card used to enter cannot be handed back over the barrier or reused for a second entry, which closes the simplest way of sharing a credential at a busy entrance.
  • Reverse entry rejection - The sensor array detects a person trying to step into the lane against the permitted direction and keeps the wings closed, preventing a second person from riding in behind a valid user.
  • 0.5 second opening and automatic reset - The wings open in 0.5 seconds and the lane passes 30 to 40 people per minute. An unused permission is cancelled after 10 seconds so a held open lane cannot be exploited.
  • Emergency release and 304 stainless cabinet - The wings unlock on power failure and the emergency stop button releases the lane at once. The 304 stainless steel cabinet is rated for more than 5 million operating cycles.

FAQ

Q1: Can one lane handle people going in and out?

Yes. The lane is bi directional: direction is detected from the sensor sequence and the wings open only for the side that presented a valid credential, with separate entry and exit counts.

Q2: How far away does the reader detect a card?

The reader works in the far field and reads a card at 50 to 80cm, so the user does not need to tap or present the card at the cabinet.

Q3: How many people pass per minute?

The wings open in 0.5 seconds and the lane handles 30 to 40 people per minute, with the next credential validated while the previous user is still inside the lane.

Q4: Can a card be passed back to let someone else in?

No. Anti passback logic prevents a card from being handed back over the barrier or reused for a second entry without a valid exit record.

Q5: What stops a person walking in behind a valid user?

The sensor array detects a second body or a reverse direction movement and keeps the wings closed, and the event is recorded on the lane.

Q6: Is one lane enough for a lobby entrance?

For many offices one bi directional lane replaces two single direction lanes, but the required number depends on peak flow. Our team can calculate the lane count from your headcount and shift pattern.

Q7: What happens during a power failure?

The wings unlock automatically and the emergency stop button releases the lane at once, so the entrance never blocks evacuation.
