A site rarely has one door. There is a main gate, a secondary gate for staff, a basement lift lobby, a loading bay and a contractor entrance, and each of them is usually a separate key, a separate card system or a guard with a clipboard. This swing gate turnstile runs as one lane inside a single entrance management system, so the same credential policy applies at every point. Each person carries one credential, a face, an IC card, an app QR code or an NFC phone, and that credential belongs to a group: staff, tenant, contractor, cleaner or visitor. The group decides which lanes open, on which days and in which time window, so a contractor badge works from 08:00 to 18:00 at the loading bay only, and stops working on the weekend without anyone editing a list by hand. Visitors are pre-registered by the host and receive a QR code that expires at the end of the visit, and the guard can release a lane remotely after a video intercom call. Every passage is written to the platform with lane number, credential group and time, which turns a dispute about who entered the plant room at 11 pm into a one minute lookup. The controller keeps the permission list locally, so the lanes keep working when the network or the server is down, and the records upload when it returns. The 1200mm stainless steel cabinet with a 550-850mm channel fits a normal doorway, opens in 0.5 seconds and passes 30 people per minute, 40 in normally open mode, on AC220V and 100W.
Main gate, staff gate, basement lift lobby and loading bay run on the same credential database and the same rule set. A person added or removed once is added or removed everywhere, which closes the gap where a leaver keeps a working card for a side door.
Staff, tenants, contractors, cleaners and visitors sit in separate groups, and the group carries the lane list, the weekdays and the time window. A cleaner credential can be limited to 05:00-09:00 and to the service corridor lane, and a contractor credential to working hours only.
The host registers a visitor in advance and the guest receives a QR code for the visit window, so the reception desk does not print a badge that has to be collected back. Walk-in visitors are registered at the desk or released remotely by the guard, and the code stops working at the end of the day.
The system applies day and hour rules per group, so a delivery crew is admitted during receiving hours, and the same credential is refused outside them. Public holiday calendars can be loaded once instead of switching each group by hand.
Every entry and exit is logged with lane, group, credential and timestamp, and four pairs of infrared sensors also log a tailgate attempt with the lane number. Records export for a security review, an incident report or a tenant query about after hours access.
The permission list is stored in the local controller, so lanes at a remote gate keep admitting valid people during a network or server outage. Buffered records upload on reconnect, and the lane opens automatically on power failure or a fire alarm signal for evacuation.

Yes. Each lane is a node in the same entrance management platform, and a person or a group is assigned to lanes rather than to a single device. Adding a second gate or a basement lane does not require a second database or a second card format.
The host pre-registers the visit and the guest receives a QR code valid for that window only, or the guard registers the guest at the desk and releases the lane after a video intercom check. Either way the credential expires, so no long lived visitor card circulates.
Yes. Lane list, weekday and time window are set per group, so contractors are admitted during working hours at the loading bay lane, cleaners early in the morning on the service lane, and tenants around the clock at the main lane.
Each passage is stored with lane, credential group, direction and timestamp, and tailgate events are logged separately with the lane number. Records can be filtered by lane, group and date, and exported for an incident report or a tenant query.
The controller keeps the permission list locally, so valid credentials still open the lane offline and records upload on reconnect. On power failure or a fire alarm dry contact the arms unlock automatically and the lane becomes a free exit for evacuation.
