A QR code alone proves that someone holds a valid pass, not that the person holding it is the one it was issued to. This swing gate turnstile closes that gap by matching the code to a registered face at the lane: the visitor presents the QR code, the terminal recognises the face, and the arm opens only when the code and the face belong to the same record. A code forwarded to a colleague, a screenshot sent to a friend or a borrowed phone no longer opens the door, and the refusal is logged with the lane number and the reason. The rule is set per group, so a staff lane can run on face alone for a fast morning flow, while a server room, a laboratory, a cash office or a data hall can require the code and the face together on every entry. Codes can be issued as dynamic values that refresh every few seconds and are signed for one device, so the pairing cannot be beaten by copying a code, and the whole check still completes in under a second because the reader and the camera work in parallel. The 1700mm stainless steel cabinet with a 550-1000mm channel opens in 0.5 seconds, passes 30 people per minute, 40 in normally open mode, and the controller keeps the template and the whitelist locally, so the lane still enforces both factors when the network or the server is down.
The lane compares the identity on the code with the face in front of the camera. A pass sent to another person fails even though the code is genuine, which is the case that a screenshot policy alone never catches.
The rule is assigned per group and per lane: face only at the main lobby for a fast morning flow, code plus face at a server room, a laboratory, a cash office or a records store. The same platform carries both without a second device.
The platform can issue a code that refreshes every few seconds and is bound to the phone that requested it. Copying the code or photographing it produces a value that is already stale, so the second factor is not the only protection.
The reader decodes the code while the camera matches the face, and the arm opens in 0.5 seconds once both results agree. Two factors therefore do not mean two stops per person.
Each attempt is stored with the factors used, the result and the refusal reason, so an access review can separate a valid single factor entry from a full two factor entry. Four pairs of infrared sensors confirm that one person passes per accepted check.
IC cards, QR codes, NFC phones and faces all work on the lane, and a mixed rule such as card plus face is also possible. The whitelist and the face templates are cached in the controller, so both factors are still enforced during a network or server outage, and the records upload on reconnect.

No. The reader decodes the code while the camera matches the face, and the arm opens in 0.5 seconds when both agree, so the whole check is complete in under a second. A staff lane can also be set to face only, with two factors reserved for sensitive areas.
The code is tied to the face registered against it, so a different person is refused even when the code is valid and unexpired. Where dynamic codes are enabled, a copied code is also stale within seconds.
Any group or lane can be set to a single factor, typically the main lobby and a staff entrance, while server rooms, laboratories, cash offices and records stores require both. The rule is changed in the platform, not at the device.
The whitelist and the face templates are cached in the local controller, so both factors are checked during a server or network outage and the passage records upload when the connection returns. The arms unlock on power failure or a fire alarm signal.
The match uses the eye and forehead region, so a medical mask or glasses are tolerated, and the acceptance threshold can be tightened for a sensitive area. Where the threshold is tightened, the code remains the first factor and the visual check is recorded as the second.
