The Z2137 rotating turnstile is specifically designed for high security applications such as construction sites, industrial parks, and campuses. Its full height enclosed stainless steel structure prevents climbing or crawling through, virtually eliminating unauthorised intrusion . The entire unit is waterproof, UV resistant, cold resistant, and heat resistant, ensuring reliable operation both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. The core anti tailgating system employs an infrared light grid combined with high precision sensors to monitor the number of passing individuals in real time one valid authentication allows only one person to pass . If anyone attempts to follow closely behind, the turnstile immediately sounds an alarm and locks. Additionally , “ passage without authentication ” can be configured to trigger an alarm and notify security personnel . The turnstile is equipped with a backup battery and an electromagnetic clutch mechanism . Upon power failure, the barrier arms automatically open to an unlocked state, leaving the passage completely clear ensuring rapid evacuation of workers in emergencies such as fire or collapse , eliminating the safety hazard of a blocked exit .
